Open in March 2023, just a few months ago, and managed by two guys from Switzerland, Savage Bar is a new small gay bar at the Yumbo Center, offering a warm atmosphere and an extensive cocktail menu in a cozy setting.

Bryan, 28 years old, and Mario, 40 years old, are two partners in life and in business from Switzerland. They just came to Gran Canaria in holidays a couple of time before deciding to move to the island to change their life and begin a new adventure in the sun. They have now open their own bar in the heart of the Yumbo Center and are expecting you every night at Savage Cocktails Bar, on the second floor in the shopping center.

Before opening a bar, Mario was working in theater and communication, and Bryan had a experience in restauration, but why did have opted for this new lifestyle ? They agree it is a big challenge. They choosed to open a bar mainly because they have great communication skills and social relationship, they like to meet with different people from different country. And fore sure, they are multilingual. Mario speaks french and english, and Bryan speaks deutch, italian, french and english. Four languages between them, and now they are learning spanish ! « We are very sociable and open », they say.

Savage is their first bar and their first experience in tourism. They choosed this name because they wanted a jungle type decoration, with colors, greenery. « Our style is evolving towards an urban pop side, neon lights, flashes, drawings ». The name’s bar cames also because they love nature and its savage side : « You have to live with nature, understand it, accept and share it ».
